Emily Miller "Passion for the Game" Award
Passionate, energetic, and joyful are a few words that best describe Coach EM.  A native of Arizona, Emily began playing lacrosse in high school and then club level at Arizona State. She also began coaching high school lacrosse and later received a full scholarship to play Div. II lacrosse in Ohio.

Immediately upon moving to Washington, Emily resurrected girls’ lacrosse in University Place by forming a U13 team, the TYLA Stars, which would grow and become what is now known as the UP Lady Vikings. Coach EM encouraged and motivated her athletes to play their best, to take risks, and to believe in themselves.

This award goes to a player who demonstrates exceptional leadership, energy, and sportsmanship, both on and off the field and who embodies joy and passion for the game.
